Warfare 1944 is a tactical strategy game set during World War II. Developed by Con Artist Games, it focuses on the Western Front, particularly the battles between American and German forces. The game is part of the Warfare series and is played in a side-scrolling format where you control different units such as infantry, machine gunners, and tanks.
How to play :
- Deployment:
- To deploy a unit, select it from the Deploy panel at the bottom of the screen, and then select a Deployment Zone on the battlefield
- Deployment costs resources, which automatically resupply overtime
- Unit Control:
- Click on the unit and use the controls from the Intel panel at the bottom of the screen
- Winning the Battle:
- Take the ground: Get a unit to the end of the middle Deploy Zone
- Deplete the enemy’s morale: This can be done by outnumbering them, eliminating a large number of them, or by moving your men past their top or bottom flanks
- Defence: In some missions, all you need to do is hold the line for the alotted time
- Objectives: Some missions have objectives that act as an alternative way to win the battle
- Upgrades:
- Upgrades are earned by earning XP (experience)
- XP is earned in the following ways:
- Eliminating enemies
- Finishing missions efficiently
- Finishing missions effectively
- Upgrade your units as soon as you can
